Default E-Rod Camaro Article and Video

Check out the Hot Rod Magazine article on the E-Rod ’79 Camaro getting new Hotchkis TVS suspension. If you’re not familiar with the E-Rod Camaro, it started out as an unloved, beat ’79 Camaro that was upgraded with a GM Performance Parts E-Rod emissions legal LS crate engine, T-56 6-speed transmission, Hotchkis suspension, and more!

Hotchkis Suspension article:

Check out this awesome video of the Camaro getting brutally punished on the asphalt by Hot Rod and Camaro Performers magazine staff.

I subscribe. Wasn't super impressed. They put over 2k in suspension on it then took it drag racing. How about some real slalom or skid pad numbers?

I don't read HotRod mag. Most of their articles bore me.

I got a subscription as part of a fundraiser for my nephews school. I prefer Chevy Hiperformance and Car Craft. I like Car Craft because I can read about other makes. It takes a wicked small block story to get my attention these days. Otherwise its the same deal. Blah blah AFR heads, Comp cam and Eagle rotating assembly. Probe or Mahle pistons. Very predictable.

HAh, I abbreviated assembly and the forum blocked it. OPPs sorry.

I've got a subscription...i hate how they always call the late second gens slow disco cars it gets kinda annoying when some magazine editor keeps hating on my car. But other than that hotrod is decent. I do like the gauges they put in the E-rod, they look pretty cool and the paint is amazing!!

I'm a Michigan boy can you feel that? Actually I finally realized there was a video attached the first post. OK I like the car now but I'm hoping my numbers are better.

Hey guys,
Hot Rod actually did do slalom and skid pad testing with the E-Rod Z28. Grab a cool drink and check it out.
