Wondering if it would be that hard to dye the interior (dash, seats side pannels etc) of my 71 RS? what brands are good and what does it take to do the job? any good/bad stories?

It's not very hard, I've had to do it. Sand everything with 1000 grit sand paper take some body prep diluted with water to remove any silicone or armor all. Then go over it with a tack cloth and then go ahead and spray. http://www.detailyourcar.com/shop/in...e&product_id=6
