Hello, new to the forum, I have a '67 Camaro with a 427 motor. It is in pretty good shape, but the motor is not original. I am doing some minor restoration and I have a question. Were the door hinges painted the same color as the car when it came new from the factory? Currently, they are painted white on my car, the same as the exterior, and I am about to replace both lower hinges. Should I take the top hinges off and blast the paint off, or should the new hinges get painted?

 

The door hinges are the same color as the main body color.
