i need a 350 stock engine and i need to find one thats cheap.
You can either look in a boneyard, or the papers for a used engine for now. Or find a car that's trashed, but has a good engine. You can usually pick up a better deal that way, since a lot of sellers only see a crappy car, and not an engine of value.
BTW, I noticed it's been over a year and a half since your original post, how's the project coming along?

Yeah, I was going to suggest craigslist for something cheaper than that. Been seeing a lot of 350 bare blocks for 80 - 125 here lately and a lot of assembled short blocks for 200 - 400.

I can get you glass in AL, not sure if it's worth shipping though depending where you are, it would cost as much to ship as you could probably find it for locally

what do you mean or cars are heavy,they weigh less than a 4th gen and most other cars around and no it shouldnt take to much to makeit a fast car shoot i plan on starting on a engine for my 73 this winter hoping for around 400hp to the wheels.hopefully with enough money any thing can happen right lol
