I wanted to purchase a custom model car of a '71 SS.

I was hoping maybe someone else has purchased one? It doesn't seem like any of the large manufactuing places sell that model (let alone the color I want).

Are there any people you've bought from that will make them custom to a specific car?

Any and all help would be great!

what exactly are you looking for? theres a million camaro models out there. i believe almost every year ever made. I actually think I have a 71 SS 1:24 diecast in yellow.

as far as a custom one...its very expensive

 

Honestly, I don't know much about model cars! I'm looking to give this as a gift to my boyfriend who has a 71 SS.. I wanted to give him one that looked like his.. Here is a picture. I was thinking something like 6-12inches long? I have no clue what size that would be.. So clueless!

It's so close! That's awesome. Only thing that looks different to me is the split bumper (his isn't split) and no vinyl roof. Looks so close tho!

yea you will probably get close but no cigar. there isnt a lot of models out there in that blue color. maybe search for a z28 instead of an ss you may get closer.

 

Or find a plastic 1/24 scale model kit and he can assemble, paint, and add the black roof to it as he assembles it!

 

I think you're right. I might purchase the one you sent me the link for then let him paint the roof!

I'll have to find his info,but on another forum there is a guy that will do the plastic models in an exact copy of your car,same color,same wheels,even copys the interior,and his prices are good.As soon as i can find it,i'll post the info for you.

 

Ok,i just realized he hasn't been on that forum for quite a while,but one of the threads he made,he gave his email address for people to contact him.He does really good work,i'm going to have one done of my car when i get it done.Here is his email,hope it's still active.
