Cool color importance when reselling

I am lookng at 2 Camaros and will purchase one. I may only keep it for a year or two and then resell. Which one sounds like a better choice to resell
1979 camaro RS, light blue bottom and dark blue top with light blue interior needs paint and interior work, engine bay never touhed 60,000 miles on 350/350
1978 Camaro silver with red interior, only needs interior work, recent new porfessional exterior paint, engine bay spotless but 100,000 miles on 350/350
I appreciate the opinions of the experts in this group.

I'd buy the one that looks best, decent paint costs more than an engine and if it still runs good at 100K miles it should still have quite a bit of life in it.
You can get a complete rebuilt long block for under $1500 online and maybe less at a local shop, that won't buy a very good paint job at least not around here.

Thanks for the reply.
One of the 1970 camaros I am looking at is an automatic with a column shift. I have not come across one of these before. Will this hurt the resale value if and when i go to resell it? Should I look into make ing it a floor shifter and how costly will that be?
Thank you
