Check out Summit or Jegs for fuel injection systems. Carbs suck with turbos.

Sounds like you're having fuel starvation. Do you have enough fuel in the tank for the pick up to be completely submerged? If you do, you might want to upgrade your fuel pump.

Ok Ok, I can't stand it, you need to get your carburetor modified, or buy a new one.
You need what is known as a "blow through" carb.
If this forum were worth a crap, someone who knew about this would have come along and given you a link to the necessary modifications.

Brought to you from your friendly Moparts Forum.

625 cfm is too small for a stongly modded 350. your motor is starving for air at higher rpms. you need to upgrade to a 650 or 700 cfm. i currently run a 600 cfm edelbrock because i got it from someone i knew and it was cheap. the motor starves for air at high rpm, the carburetor doesnt necessarily lean out, it jsut cant spit out as much air and fuel as the motor desires. its jsut a temporary one until i can afford a barry grant 650 or 700. if you want to stick to barry grant, get one with mechanicle secondaries. and either 650 or 700cfm. you hjave a high power motor, so i would prefer the 700cfm. i like the speed demons but unless you can sacrafice having a choke, stick to a road demom.
