Default Camaro 1980 RUS

Hi all...
On Saturday I bought 2 Gen Camaro 1980.
And what we got?
Body with new hood, floor panels and threshold.
New rear end and all new suspensions.
Interior is very bad...wet and with mold.
I haven't gearbox, engine and electrical wiring )
Some photos

I'm very happy ))))) (In red trucker cap)

Tahoe + Yukon + Van all full of camaro parts ))))

I want to buy new or used electrical cord wiring, where can I do it? Summit Racing?
And my VIN is 1P87KAN538429 - can somebody tell me what it was? Z28 or RS or something else?
Thanks.

Welcome, looks like you got some work ahead of you. At least you dont have to tear it apart lol. From the vin it shows that it came with a 229ci V6, so not a Z28 and i dont imagine it's an rs either. my guess would be sport coupe.

"Some assembly required". lol Yes on the V6 car, and maybe on it being an RS. Did you get a good deal on all that stuff?
Here are the options that comes up, but the decoder doesn't show your car's VIN specifically, so not sure if that's exactly your car or a generalization: VIN Decoded

RS came with a 229ci, learn something new everyday lol.

Heres where i got my info MadMike's 1980 Camaro Data It's a little confusing, the P in the Vin (1P87KAN) said Sport, RS or Z28 but the K stands for 229ci and a Z28 never came with a V6, i just guessed it wasn't a RS.

Not sure about in 1980, which is why I said maybe because the VIN breakdown results (according to the heading) was hinting inconclusive.
On 1st gen Camaros, you could have gotten the RS package on.....yes, even a 6 cylinder car. RS was an appearance package, not a performance package.
