CA Smog question???

Default CA Smog question???

Do any of you guys know if a 1979 Camaro has to be smogged? Jus got the car yesterday and is in no condition to do a smog. Well, cuz the engine is thrashed. Thanks

Yes you still have to smog a 79

I live in Arizona and My 1979 has no Smog on it. I passed Emissions with flying colors

I am in CA right now and I have been told the '79 I am working on needs to be smogged, which is what I am working on right now, with help from this forum...

as of right now in california smog requirements are 30 years so we are at 1977 for no smog!!!!!

It did not work that way as we all expected when the changed from pre 65 to pre 75.
