Question A/C compressor question

I have an engine that originally was in a 79 Camaro. It is now in my Jeep Cherokee. Both had A/C, but the engine does not have the compressor. In order to get my Jeep to have A/C, I need to get the correct compressor for the engine. During my search it seems there are 2 possible options, A6 and R4. How do I know which to get? What's the difference? Does it matter which one? Will either bolt to the bracket on the engine?

Then I need to get the correct hoses, accumulator, etc. Do I get ones for the Jeep or for the Camaro? I know the condenser will have to be for the Jeep due to size, but then I may have issues with hose fittings.

Maybe I should just go with a generic A/C kit?
