You Camaro guru you......Actually , it is a Van Nuys ,Ca Car that was sold in Nevada in 1971.
But yes, Norwood was the only other place for the Z/28 of those years to be born...
Some rust,I spent 40 hours and some rust mort, back in 1984 ,getting the trunk in order...
But most of the rust now is surface rust...

Your still a Camaro guru knowing the only two places that the Z/28's came out of.
Only the Norwood,Ohio cars were stamped Z/28 on the VIN.
That is why it is precious to have the build sheet. I found it behind the backseat. We are pulling and changing the Gas tank. I might find the second sheet there.....
Damn me for ever seeing the Rushforth's....I am spending a lot of time trying to find something else. But all the Cars and wheels i like have Rushforth's...

I sure will be. They also document all the work and will have their own thread too...
It has begun, and I am excited. Also , even though I knew about how much I would spend to get her done, I still have a lump in my throat.
I know I could do with less in all areas; wheels, seats, biggest brakes,etc.....,but a Bucket List is not cheap...
Or never done....Once I have some super car brakes and pretty sweet suspension, I can drive it a while.....If it is enough power for me,no sweat..
But if I need more, or i get spanked and get pissed, i was thinking about a small charger. I thought that I built the motor to accommodate a small 125HP B and M charger.
I have flat tops, about 9.5 to 1 compression, screw in studs, four bolt.......What do you think ? Engine has about 25K miles on it , and still pulls hard to redline..
That is after I completely drained my Z/28 budget, and dipped into my Music Bucket list cash...So where that money would come from is pure wishful thinking...Up there with owning a ZL-1

Good to know...
It pulled really hard before, and with the new MSD Distributor and Box, the new K and N Air cleaner, and the new headers and Mufflers, I should get some more power..
I plan on taking it to Infineon Raceway for a day at the track, so normally aspirated is probably the best way to go.. I mean the road course...
We will see if I need any additional dry sump. I do have the stock LT-1 Pan with the baffle and the windage tray on the crank..
Some serious cornering and braking are going to take place.
I plan to mount a camera before I run the track...
It will be next spring. I Already know what I need to run a vintage car on the track..
No side by side racing...Mainly time trials..
