Brand new Here and Need some advice on this Car
#13
To know if it is a True Z/28, you may have to do some research.
The Norwood, Ohio Cars had Z/28 stamped on the VIN #.
The Van Nuys ,Ca. Cars like mine, don't have it on the VIN.
I have a build sheet. Most Van Nuys cars need it to prove it.
Also the LT-1 Motor is stamped.. The 1971 LT-1, is a CGP Block.
I don't know what a 1970 Block is... It may be the same Code.
It will have an aluminum intake with the GM snowflake..
These are very IMPORTANT. The difference between a 5k to 10k Car, and a 20k to 40k Car...
Also the Z/28 never has A/C.. It comes with the 8000rpm Tach, Sway bars.Turbo 400 ,if Auto with electronic Kickdown. If it has a cable Kickdown, or a turbo 350..No Z/28.
If you need more info, contact me.. A mechanic I am not...But knowledge of true Z/28's, I have some.
