Bad day at the track :(
#11
I appreciate all the tips...the track i'm at...you just CAN'T go around the wet area...
It is literally like 2 car lengths behind the starting line...
I think they mop just to cool down the track after a few people race.
I can't just put tires on in the line in front of the wet area.
I have usually been able to do just fine considering track conditions..this week was just really bad!
I was also advised on traction bars...I could get them at the yard I got my motor and tranny from...the guys there know me,and have helped me in the past...the guy that works at the yard..is actually the same guy who works at the track.
I have thought about checking out craigslist...but usually parts there are junk...
Also posi rear end and 4:11 gears..never wanted to build him for racing.Just wanted a car that was older, rare, and looked good.Under the hood a plus too,but nothing too crazy.i also have a young son,a home, other cars...so money is pretty tight. I just thought I could get some ideas...and go from there.
