It should not be to difficult to install... either the Muncie or the Borg warner....I've done many swaps both ways on gms..

There are many specialty sites for camaro parts that have the parts, also check e-bay...Classic industries shows the clutch and brake pedal assembly for around $70.00

it is a relatively simple bolt in deal as I remember...most complicated is probably getting the pedals mounted under the dash and the clutch linkage thru the fire wall. goggle a search on the net and i'm sure you will find all the info you need.

You'll have to use a differnet drive shaft...

Iv'e ran the saganaws( kinda weak), munice (both the close and wide) and the borg warners (close and wide ratio)...they work well....

Depending on what your doing with the car, you may want to invest in a safety bell housing such as Mclead, http://www.mcleodind.com/index.html there is a wide array of flywheels, clutchs and discs available so the best bet is to start googling and reading up on the stuff...
try haysclutchs.com or centerforce.com, then read into there various tech articles...

also read the info on this link for info on Muncies http://www.5speeds.com/muncie.htm they have info on all types of manual transmissions (not just 5 speeds)

Feel free to get with me on any questions.

Greg

I did this swap on my '70 Camaro and the trick is to get an M20 from 68-70. It has the same spines on the output shaft and length as the TH350. This way the drive shaft and crossmember don't need to change. You can identify the 68-70 Muncie by the case number that ends in 060. Another benefit of this case is the larger counter shaft.

You may have to drill the frame for the clutch cross-shaft bracket but you'll find factory dimples to locate it correctly. Make sure the engine block you will be using has a hole for the ball nut stud which holds the other end of the cross-shaft.

For lots of great Muncie info go to 5speeds.com. Don't let the name fool you. This is a great manual trans website. I got the video and I've started rebuilding an M20 for my '68 Cutlass. It's really fun. Also, be sure to get the factory assembly manual and you'll get the little details needed for the installation.
