Default Annoying key alert

Does anyone still have the annoying buzzer that lets you know the keys are in the ignition when it's turned off?
My '71 still has this thing, and it's a little annoying. I've often wondered if there isn't some sort of chime that could be plugged into the same place that would be a little less offensive to my ears. Hate to just pull it out, as I like the reminder if I left the keys, but I hate this sound!

yeah i love all the lights coming on but the buzzers like.... blah ill leave it.

QUESTION THOUGH!!!

is the older GM ignitons go back? mine only turns forword. into on and start. then back to on. theres like a dead throw period. i know my igniton is just shot to hell reason why it sometimes it cuts out driving. but i want the one that only turns on power to raido. my coil got hot once just lissing to radio. working in the barn. before i setup a central barn radio

Hmmmm? I'll have to check and see about the switch. I actually don't remember.
My car doesn't have a seatbelt light. Does have the brake light warning, but I think those have been there for many, many years!

yeah, my ignition is like this imagine as your looking at it from your seat.

start
click 2 (on)
click 1
Lock.

ima check my fuse box with a 12vlt checker to see if theres a fuse tab that is turned on in the first click but is not attached to the switched 12vlt for the HEI setup/coil cause then i wont heat up my HEIs coil if u use the raidio in a parking lot or something

the igniton in our chevy pickup is like this though so im kinda confused about if our camaros had an accessories zone on the ignition that doesn't just run 12vlt hot to our coils. my old crap one i got with the car got hot once with radio on so this is why i ask

start
click2
dead zone.(kinda the unlock of the wheel)
lock
accessories
