aluminum heads?

lookin to purchease aluminum heads for my 80. it has a 350 with not a whole lot of work done performance wise. its got a 488 cam, 650 holley, headers. the basics. what is the best size and brand to get for the money? i know very little about heads so the more info the better. even part numbers and stuff like that from summit/jegs. like what lifters i need and what not. i almost need someone to hold my hand thru this process. hahaha thanks a lot guys

Its all about your budget.....
If you dont know alot about cylinder heads, Id suggest getting assembled heads. The pros have already put them together properly, so you are able to concentrate on the specs and design vs cost. Things like cc (combuster chamber volume) should be taken into account, you seem to have a stock engine, with stock pistons so a set of Edelbrock performer http://store.summitracing.com/partde...p;autoview=sku
heads should do you fine. Gm performance has some nice fast burn heads for a hundred more, or you can try e bay, but you are taking your chances there. Personally, I like going to summit or jegs, because theres less hassle if theres a problem. Whatever you choose, theres plenty of choices out there, but usually the wallet is going to be the deciding factor....
