Air duct

Default Air duct

[:'(]Does any one have any idea as to how to remove the air duct (sp) on the fender of a 1980 Z28?? Or do you have to remove the fender??

Thanks for any input

i'm going to say yesyour going to have to pull off the fender inless y ou think you can get it off with out pulling the fender off.remeber to keep track of all the bolts there is at leasttwo dozen bolts holding the fender on.

if your talking about the duct that the blower motor and the heater core is mounted to.i know for sure the fenderwell has to come out ,not 100% on the fender.when i built my car,i seen it would be worth the cost of a new heater core.i went ahead and changed it out ,no questions asked.pull the fenderwell out,that should give you enough room.the fender sticks out a couple of inches past the firewall.let us know what you find out
