Cool air conditioning

ok i am in the process of building a new dash for my 81 camaro and want someones opinion whether i should keep all the tubes and stuff for the ac or just take them out? someone that maybe took theirs out and wished they kept them in or someone that took them out and didnt mind i rarely every use ac and i wont b driving this in the winter so dont need heat and it would save a lot of time in making this dash if i dont have to worry about where the vents go i mean i feel i dont need them i would much rather roll the windows down and cruise ya know some opinions would help a lot thanks so muc

Just my opinion, Delete a/c, keep heat incase of emergency overheating.

I've never had AC in my '71, and never missed it, but we don't get a lot of really hot weather. If it were mine I'd get rid of everything except the heater. We need that more here than AC.

Year one makes a delete panel the lets you keep the heater, but eliminates the suitcase on the fire wall. It sticks out about 5". Maybe with your glass skills you could make one.
