I was going to get a 81 Z28 for $1500. The only thing is it is an automatic. I have only seen those year with stock manuals? Did the come out with an automatic in the 81 camaro z28 or is i a clone? The car is like 1000 miles away so I cant go and check it out. If they do come auto which trans do they come with?

yes they came with auto trans,
my 78 Z came with a TH350, in 81 I'm not sure if they had the overdrive autos or not

 

They did not offer the overdrive tans in 81
