Default 81 Z28 (my first car)

Alright so about a week ago i bought my first car (im 16)...yea its a 1981 z28, I saved up all my pennies for along time to get it and brought it home...it needs a little bit of work but overall its pretty nice...i plan on doin everything myself but i was hoping some experts on here would be able to give me some pointers on how to do it cause im pretty much learning as i go...here are some pics of it

wow that is a pretty sweet camaro! looks like its in great shape and an awesome starting point especially with those gauges and the paint not looking too bad

do you know if the engine's stock?

no the engines not stock its got a cam, pistons, 700carb, rollers, timing gears, msd, headers...the guy didn't really tell me what cam is in it or brands of anything but i think he might have said that the it was ported and polished at one point...and the msd isn't hooked up thats one of the things on my list that i have to figure out how to do lol...

Go to MSD's web site and download a diagram of the wiring for your model. That should help.
Nice Camaro!

Congrats. So you decided to get the white one huh, did you check out the burgundy one at all? Whereabouts do you live in Ontario?

^^ I thought I liked that car, voted for it.^^

I bought a deal from msd with my first distributer that went in the hei cap and had a post to hook a blaster coil to. It was the coolest way I have seen to hook up a msd to a stock dizzy.

Na i didn't get to look at the red one cause it still isn't here from BC yet...but this one looked really good so i went with it...i live in the owen sound area, where are you at?

Either way you still have a nice ride, you gonna put some Z stripes on there? i like the blue stripes on white but i seen the black and that looks sharp too, not to font of the red on white though. I live in Cornwall, right at the CA/US border
