81 question
I know someone who is tryin to sell an 81 camaro for $3500 they say it has a 427 4 bolt main <~~~no clue just say's it on the sale paper. But the interior is all to hell and the car has no front fender walls. I asked the people would they go lower but not really budging and I asked if i could get in it and drive it down the road they said sure for $3500 you can drive down the road to your house.
Is it work 3500 or should i talk them alot lower?

Wouldn't pay a dime for a Camaro they wouldn't let me test drive first. Hard to say if it's worth it without a good description, or pictures. The 327 is a good motor, but never offered in a '81 Camaro, so it will bring the value down some. From what you have described, it offhand sounds too high.

ill try to get pics but the body looks awesome no rust or dents but like i said the only thing that gets me is when i asked to take it down the road they said sure you got 3500 you can drive it down the road to your house

if they cut out the front fenders, it sounds like they had intentions of turning it into a race car - but I would agree - if they won't let you drive it, they're most likely hiding something - its probably not worth it.
Also, the only 4 bolt 327 I know of was used on 'Vett from the late 60's:
1968-69 Casting number 3955618 327 4-bolt A,F,Vette
Perhaps some of the other Chevy-heads on here would know better... but I'm not sure I would take the seller's word on that.
As far as value - we'd have to see it.
