81 camaro rear leaf spring perch
I am trying to put frame connectors on my 81 camaro. And the 3 bolts from the front leaf spring perch just turn in their spot the nut or whatever is on the other side seems to have broken loose from the frame and spins with the bolt now. i managed to extract 2 out of the 6 they came out just like they should but now im stuck cause from what i can tell there is no acces to the other side of these bolts. Do i need to cut floor pan or frame i have no idea how to fix this prob any advice would be great.

The nuts are square and sit in a piece of sheetmetal that allows them to move a litle for lining up with the perch. Once they rust to the bolt they will tear out of the retainer when turned.
At this point yu will have to use a torch to take the head off the bolt, and once the spring perch is out of the way you can cut the metal and weld a real nut to a plate, then the plate to the inside location of the old nut.
You can cut from inside the body by removing seats and carpeting, and opening up the floor also. Then do the same repair by welding a regular nut in place there.
