The Summit 282/282 is a 465 lift and operates in the 2200-5200 range. I very nice street cam, but definitely way too high a stall speed for that cam. Should be more like a 2000 RPM stall converter like they took out.

Yeah, with that type of duration I wouldn't recommend over 2500. At 280 duration and around 9 on compression ratio TCI, B&M and 3.42 gears they all recommended 2400 for my setup at the max.
Jegs.com had a decent little chart to put you in the ballpark that was like a compilation of tci's and b&m's information.
Edit> Didn't come across like it previewed. Just go here.

No, as the chart is a little general in nature. Your 195HP crate engine has fairly low compression, so torque is not the same as the engine ranges listed. Really nothing on those charts that would have that long a duration cam with the low 8.5:1 CR engine. As it says at the bottom, it's just a guideline and your stall speed may vary on your application.

Now what? Anything else I should do? I want the most horsepower possible. I'm coming from a 2009 G8 GT with a 6.0L V8 with 360RWHP. I'm really going to miss all that extra power. What do I need to do to squeeze out as much power as possible? Would it be cheaper to add stuff and bore it out, or just drop a better crate motor in it?
How exactly is an older style motor tuned, in comparison to the new engines that get tuned via a ECM reflash?

So I sold my G8 yesterday and should have the Camaro in my possession by the end of next week.
Once I install the flex fan spacer and electric cooling fans I will fix the tranny leak and then drive it around for a week or two before I gut the interior and work my up from the floor pan up.
Is there anyone who has any ideas that could help me out with the interior? I want to use Dynamax on the floor pan, than top it with Dynamat Extreme and Extremeliner but I found a competitive product on Classic Industries...they have kits called HushMat.
Also, what do you guys recommends for seats? I'm a big guy, 6'2"/230lbs and right now its a very tight for me, my knees almost touch the wheel and my head hits the headliner...I was thinking if I replace the seats with new ones and relocate the tracks further back with a declining seat that I should have an issue.
I was thinking of doing the dash with AutoLite Dash from Classic Dash. Anyone have any examples?
Here are updated pics as of today.
