I'm thinking he was following off of the post before about the solidity of cars in your area reflecting on the price of the car. And being that the rustbelt area, ie. the Midwest is the worst place to buy a solid Camaro, he was saying that his area is the buckle of the rustbelt.

Sorry HAHA

I'm going to add some more detailed photos once they upload to my Photobucket account. You should be able to get an idea of the condition of the car. Again - these pics are from 2003 when my brother was putting some money into it. I won't have any recent pictures until the next few weeks.

Yeah pretty mudh what ATM said. I had to search for litterally years and drive 300 miles one way to get a rust free car, I got it but it cost 1800 bucks and was completly disassembled. Front sub frame was even off.

Well, once I sell my current ride, my first three priorities are fixing the overheating problem, the tranny leak and the rear. Then, I plan on gutting the interior and seeing how the floor panels look. I'm going to redo the interior with all new stuff from NPD. Once that is done, my buddy and I are going to do the body work ourselves and once we're done to the metal and fix any rust, we're going to send it off to get painted. I will attempt to post pics after each milestone is completed. I'm really looking forward to this.

How much does a good paint job usually go for? I was considering Maaco only because the one near me is very reputable and they're typically above average. That being said, I rather get it done somewhere else.

Any other suggestions?

Plan on that interior costing you well over $2500, I priced it out and I probably missed stuff, I think it came to $2800 if I remember correctly. You can just repaint your plastics you know. http://thecamaroclub.net/camaro_tech...ior_trim.shtml
