Howdy.


I've got a 79 Z28 and I'm looking to get a pillar pod guage holder kind of thing.


I can't find them for this generation of car anywhere. Somebody suggested Classicindustries, but they say they no longer offer anything of that sort.


Anyways, any suggestions? I intend to run a lot of guages(EGT, boost, NO2, oil press, water temp, so on), so every available CLEAN way to mount them is appreciated.

I've never seen them for that car anywhere. Just get the ones that fit in the centerconsole under the dash. that little pocket there for change, etc.. They have one that fits right in there.



This is jsut and example but they have many different styles for these kind

 

you could get extra pillars and try to glass some pods on yourself. you will be able to put some in to replace original gauges that you dont need in the dash. Also, like he said, under the dash. good luck

if you need help with the fiberglass, look at making custom speaker enclosures since it will be the same principal.
