I have a 79 Camaro Base model, and it needs a gauge bezel, and all the gauges. I am going to make a gauge bezel out of aluminum. My problem is, i dont know what size gauges they came with, or what gauges i need exactly. I have all the wiring for them, but when i got the car, it had no gauges or gauge bezel. Any help would be appreciated. Also if anyone knows any where to get cheaper gauges would help

 

I think the sizes on them are 3 3/8" for the speedometer and tach and either 2 1/16" or 2 5/8" for the others.As for what should be there,if your car had gauges and not the dummy lights,then there would be speedometer,tach,fuel level,clock,water temp,and volt meter.As for where to find cheap gauges,your cheapest option would be to find a factory set on craigslist or ebay.

 

Alright thanks for the help, i think iv decided to make an aluminum bezel, and then put digital gauges in it.
