Default 79 camaro with 454

i am a new guy to muscle cars..but i am thinking about buying a 79 camaro with a 454 and 650 holly carb.

it would be used as a daily driver. is this a semi reliable car/engine. i understand it is an old car. but a 7 out of 10 times working is fine for me :-)

Depends on the car and engine's condition. Regardless of age, if it's in good shape and reliable it can be a daily driver. I drove my '71 with 427 daily for years, even while racing it on weekends. It was super reliable, and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it daily now.(weather permitting! )

454's are solid engines and relatively cheap to maintain when stock.

no other specs than 454 :-(

however, another camaro has caught my eye.

1976 LT camaro with 305 bored out .30...they said now its a 355. i don't understand how that works though. forged pistons or rods or something. rebuilt engine with lots of aftermarket parts. looks nice, runs good..

any thoughts? it is going to be a daily driver...so 6 mpg does not sound like much fun. it is a small town though :-P

Default OEM Front Fenders

Hi
I have a left and a right front fender in my shed. I would like to get rid of them, we no longer have a Camaro. I believe they are off a 78 z28.
Thanks
