Default 78 Camaro Value?

I found a 78 Camaro, doesnt run, the owner said that it needs new plugs and probly some carb cleaning,56k of miles, he said that the tranny and engine was good when parked, ran a couple of years ago, the interoir is junk, the only thing good in there is the seats and dash, 1 seat is missing, has moon roof, 4 speed, junk tires, frame and tin work is in all great condtion.
Whats it worth??

probably not much...

Plugs/carb cleaning alone will not likely be the only reason why it doesn't run...does it crank over?

Rust?

Also, how does it have a moon-roof? Did they cut thru the structural T-bar in the roof? hmmmmm

How much are they asking for it? I'd say 1000 tops (but w/o pics'info it's hard to tell

I bought a 68 years ago and the seller said the engine just needed plugs and wires, cap and rotor to run. He conveniently didn't have jumper cables or booster pack to crank it. I got it home and the engine was siezed. Do lots of checking before making an offer. Even then expect to spend twice what you estimate to fix the engine. I'd shoot a low price, no more than 1000 or so. good luck.
