Carburator, camshaft, transmission, gear ratio, exhaust system and the driver are just a few of the variables. What is mpg anyway??? I go for smiles per mile and my right foot is happy!

Somewhere between 8-21 MPG ![Big Grin](https://camaroforums.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
As stated above it all depends on how it is set up and how you drive. 350's do not do as well as 305's. 305 with overdrive and a decent rear with a good carb tune can hit 24 MPG highway. Same car with a hvy foot around town canwill only get 10 MPG.

I'm not trying to be an ***, but do you get the point now?
it's kind of the same thing as showing one picture of a car and asking how much it's worth

So it's BRAND NEW but from where? Is it a crate engine and if so where did you get it from? What options does it have? What size carb? What's the camshaft's lift and duration? What gears do you have in the rear axle? What type of BRAND NEW transmission is it? You won't get an accurate answer without supplying accurate information. There's so many combinations of options that this engine can have that it can get anywhere from 5 mpg to mid 20's. If you're going to be vague then you're going to get vague answers.
