Default 71 ss 396?

just picked up a 71 camaro that im trying to decode. it is a lime green norwood built 4speed with no motor. the trim tag says L34. it doesnt say anything else where the rpo would be. i thought that it would say z27 or something that would confirm its a ss. any help?

L34 on the trim tag is the code for SS 396, 350 hp. That's what your car is/was.
Z27 is the SS 350 code.

That's kinda hard to say without seeing it. It also depends on how rough is rough. If it has more rust holes than solid metal, then it's mostly worth the sum of it's usable parts. If the body is pretty solid, and what it needs is paint, interior and engine/trans, then that's a different animal. It could be worth anywhere from a few hundred to a few thousand, it depends. Solid rollers in primer gotta be worth at least $3k. Yeah, that car is an SS model, but the original numbers matching engine is what truly makes it that. Too bad the car was cannibalized.
