Default 67 Conv restoration

I am new to the board. I am going to start helping my father-in-law tonight tear down is 67 conv. It is a 6cyl auto car that is going to get a 327 and power disc brakes, but all pasrt will be saved and nothing will be cut so it can go back to a numbers matching 6cyl car. The engine is already out and the front clip is off. Tonight we will start removing the interior so we can inspect the condition of the body and start getting quotes for body work and paint. I will post pics as we go.

I am looking for any good tips while doing this. Also what will I need for motor mounts to go from a 6cyl/powerglide to a 327/350 turbo? Will I need any specialty tools to remove the trim around the windshield or in the interior? If anyone knows of a good step by step write up could you give me a link?

bag and tag all nuts and bolts were they came from, makes it easier when its time to go back together.
motor mounts for a SB V8 plus all the V8 brakets should be all thats needed to convert. The crossmember should be the same as PG, not sure about the length of the driveshaft
I belive the 6cyl has a cable for the throttle linkage, you might have to change that
not sure about the front springs might have to change them also, when you do the front discs I would replace all the parts

okwe got the car pretty much stripped down other than the dash, windshield trim, windshield, rear windows and chrome around the soft top above the trunk. I will post pics soon, I keep forgetting to download them from my camera. How does the chrome around the windshield and the soft top come off? Also should I remove the rear windows and the mechanisms or just the glass, or just tape the glass before getting it media blasted?
