yeah..this is a good site....what you need to know there's a few 454 2nd gens here.

 

I just converted my 70ss to a 396... Things to consider if you don't have a complete donor motor.. Pullies, brackets, are all different on a bb. You can re use your small block motor mounts, the power steering pump, distributor, and your transmission. You will have to buy new headers, a radiator, and a few other odds and ends to finish the project. Let me know if you want any info...
