Default 350 ID Stamp

Ok, just joined to get some more info for a 350 Cid in an 87' r10 Chevy. I have casting and stamp numbers and the info gave me 1970 350cid with 300 hp and it was made in NY, came out of a Camaro which was built in LA., but the stamp has more number's which are G.R. 358CID, 188152924, 9.17.88., is this a replacement or what? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Picture? That does not sound like GM makings. I would guess that it was some remanufactures data or a local machine shop.
