3 line to 2 line fuel pump?

Default 3 line to 2 line fuel pump?
So we have a 3 line fuel pump in the 80z (350) and we were wondering if we could use a 2 line pump and just cap off the vapor return line? is it possible or am i just crazy?

I think you will have starvation issues because the tank is vented through that line. Maybe not with a vented cap. Try it. It only takes a minute to swap a pump.
