If your talking about the strip along the bottom of the door, its a chrome strip, we've got them on our 73. Want a pair?

They are usually on base model cars. Z28's in 78 had black painted rockers to match the stripes. The later ones had nothing. The car needs to have the studs welded to the rocker in order to work. I'm getting ready to grind mine off. The doors will have a matching set of studs at the top for window trim. No Z28 ever got these pieces.

Mike, here's some further information on that Camaro resto parts place I was telling you about. its D&R classic, they are in Warrenville Illinois, I'm in the southwest suburbs of chicago and I drove there to pick up some parts before, probably took me 1/2 hour driving to get there, so its not that much farther for you. They're phone number is 1 888 226 2761, they're email is sales@drclassic.com. They probably have what you want. Good luck. Bob
