It's a smog pump line that runs a 90degree off the pump and stops just passed EGR valve. I already hooked up the smog lines to the air cleaner and exhaust air tube. Is their a "T" shape fitting that this would hook up too that runs from the valve cover to the side of the air cleaner?

 

I'd have to look at a schematic, but some vehicles (as in my old 3rd gen) ran an air line from the smog pump down to the catalytic converter to help it heat up faster. See if your cat has a nipple on it. You don't want that line connecting to the valve cover or air cleaner/carb.
