I have a 1980 Z28 that I am restoring. It was originally dark blue with red stripes and red cloth interior. Does anyone on here know how many were built this way? I can not find any info anywhere. Any info is appreciated.

 

That's most made color for 80. 17,399 Dark blue. Not offered by chevy with red and red stripes. I don't see red interior offered for 1980, only 1981.Could be special order,or interior swapped?

GM refers to the color as carmine. I will post a pic of the tag. I checked it in my book as well. I am curious how many were made this way.

 

Yup carmine is red in 1980 ,c was camel in 81 and carmine changer to r for red. I bet that had to look nice. Ive never seen that combo.
