1980 Seats
#2
Badlinetta,
Playing at a buddy's junkyard, 'way back in the day, we discovered that any seat which could mount on specific seat tracks would give you the choice of all the seats of cars using the same seat tracks. If you know the Part Number of your seat tracks, any car using the same seat tracks will have seats that you can swap in easily. You may have to drill a hole or two if the donor car uses different mounting holes, but that is minor, A friendly junkyard could give you the list of car candidates (and years) for the seats. We often found things like transmission mounts that were identical for pickups, sedans, and station wagons. Most of the running gear for the early Mustangs were really just Falcon parts (we started calling the early Mustangs as "the sheep in wolf's clothing"). I had an old Chevy sedan with Pontiac power seats (I had to drill two new bolt holes).
For my motorcycle parts, some Parts Drawings are on the Internet with the list of all the bikes using that identical part. If you find a similar Internet resource for Camaros, please share.
