Default 1977 RS 4 Speed Conversion

Hello, I'm brand new here and am glad I found this forum. I recently found the Camaro I bought when I was 15 years old (41 now) and now own it again. It is a 77 RS and I want to convert it to a 4 speed and have a few questions:

Other than the transmission, are 3 speed and 4 speed parts compatible (pedals, bell housing etc.)?

Does anyone offer a complete conversion kit?

Is there a list of all parts necessary?

Any information is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!

I believe Tamaraz has the pedals and z bar assembly. Expect to pay around 250-300 for that. Then you'll need the bell housing and a hump for the floor pan. The humps are 80 bucks or so. If your using a Borg Warner you'll need a drive shaft yolk. I see whole kits go for about 1000 with the tranny, but thats for used parts. Lastly you'll need a console.

Do you really need a console to convert to a 4 spd? They did offer them without consoles.

Its like a toilet with no seat to me. Sure you can use it but do you want to?

I chose no console because it's extra useless weight. I made my own hump for the stick.
