well the motor is completely back together (with the exception of a thermostat that i still need and forgot about ) and is sitting on the frame. it looks really good. I removed the rotors from the spindles and have cleaned and painted them and the dust shields. i need to buy some new rotors because mine are screwed, when i do that i will also buy some new bearings and seals. Im in the process of cleaning the calipers to see if their worth rebuilding. The sway bar is cleaned and painted as well but i need some new mounting bushings to mount them. The new ball joints now have new poly dust boots. I cleaned and painted the steering box and replaced the pitman arm seals. The upper control arms have been cleaned but i need to wipe them down and then paint them. i need to buy another new control arm shaft so i can put the upper control arms back on.

I have painted the trunk lid and spoiler and have put them back on. The back end actually looks like a car now, minus the lights, tires and rearend . I plan on putting the rearend on sometime next week. after the rearend, on go the doors. at some point i need to finish the front subframe.

sorry for no recent pics. i bought a new memory card and the camera still says "card error" on the screen. im going to have to mail it in to get it repaired since its still under warranty. theres no school tomorrow but my autos teacher will be there and i think he still has his camera ther so i will stop by and see if i can get him to take a few pics for me.

WOw, badass, check out my '71 T-top. I have the engine/trans out and have just finished body work in the engine bay and sprayed engine bay with the new Eastwood 2k Ceramic chassis paint, turned out great. I'll have to update the pics soon. What kind of tops are they?? I was told my car had them installed in the mid to late 70's, the brand is american t-tops. Have you heard of these, do you have any info on them?? I have done reasearch and have found no info on them. I bet you cant wait to finish up your car. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2408564
