1971 th350 to a 700r4
hey guys, i have a th350 in my 71 and im wanting to put a 700r4 in it. im pretty sure everything will mount up correctly but im not sure what i have to do with all the electrical. im just curious what u guys think and if it will be worth it. thanks

Driveshaft needs to be shortened or changed. yoke needs to be different for the 700R4 also. Might find one in the donor car that can be cut to length.
You'll have to add a vacuum switch and wiring harness for the TCC (lock up torque converter). Just get it off what ever the donor vehicle is.
The modulator valve vacuum hose can be eliminated.
You may need to adapt the TV cable, to fit your carb.
May need a different shifter, like a B&M or Hurst.
The speedo drive may need to have gears changed to calibrate to your car.
And the crossmember needs to be moved, and adapted to the new 700.
