I just purchased a 69 ss. we ID'd it via vin tag....actually my buddy did...but the guy i bought it from was a firebird lover and was converting it to a firebird and ran out of money. my question is. i heard the doors on a firebird are shorter than the doors on a Camaro. if this true that sucks because the quarters, doors and fenders are from a firebird. any help would be great.

 

Get rid of that stuff and put Chevy parts back on. That car will be worth tons more when You do that. That Guy was nuts doing that to a '69 SS.

 

the doors are the same
the quarters are different because of the marker light at the rear and the luvers (for a lack of a better trem to use for them) just past the door
the front fenders are different also as is the hood and cowl
