Default 1967 Camaro SS Question!

Hi Everyone , i need some expert opinion on this , am thinking about buying a 1967 Camaro SS with the following mods:

-383 Stroker
-Headman Ceramic Headers
-MSD Ignition system
-Edelbrock intake
-Flowmaster Complete Exhaust system
-B&M Gearshifter Quicksilver
-Transmission: Auto 400
-Traction Bars

and some more minor mods.

the owner told me that it has the brakes of the Corvette C4, no A/C and the car did 340HP on the dyno (Tourqe is 390)

if anyone could explain more about the engine and what additional mods i can add to get some more ponies that would be great.

the interior is very clean (black leather) has a new sony headunit with some pioneer speakers at the back (why doesnt the front doors have holes for speakers???)

he also said that he did a little race with the new Porsche Cayman (300HP) and he was faster by 2-3 cars.

this is it

price is 16000$

For a low bux upgrade you could change to GM Vortec heads and matching manifold and pick up 40 to 50 HP and still have a streetable car. A hotter cam would also help. The 383 is getting choked with stock heads and cam.

When cars get that old it hard to tell what they are really worth. If it was a mostly original and unmolested car it could be worth a lot. But this one, although in nice shape, is not a collectors car, but more of an enthusiasts car. Check the links below.

the interior was restored 2-3 years ago , its black leather , the trunk looks new and clean. the owner told me when he painted the whole car 2 years ago , they sprayed 3M under the car or something like that to protect it from rust.

i was wondering why the front doors don't have speakers ? or at least holes to install speakers in ? is this normal for this model??

thx everyone
