*Non Camaro question* 1977 Chevy 4X4 Blazer Posi Differential.

Ok, I have a Camaro thats why im incamaro forums however I do havea 1977 V8 4X4 Blazer. Ill try to make this quick.
I somehow twisted the differntial crosspinand it broke in half,IHave the newcrosspin butit does not seem to line upright when im trying to bolt it in, Like there is somthing in the way. When i first took the brokencrosspin out i did see thatthere was a cylindertype deal on the center of the differentialthat was pushed out, now it seems to be flush in itsplace after moving the truck. Does anyone know what im talking about. I was hoping someone could help me out.Any info would help thanks alot.

If you can, post some pics of what you got going on, maybe I can help you out. I work in a 4WD shop and have never seen a crosspin broke in half. Typicaly the carrier splits open first.
