Default Rebuild 350 .30 over or LS2

Need HELP? I have my car at the shop thinking of rebuilding my non-numbering matching 350 or drop in a new LS2 ?
Can I get some advise on what would be a better decision? I know each one has plus and minus but I'm looking for help

You posted this in a section that isnt frequented as often as the general first gen section.
What kind of results with the engine choice are you after? What is the ultimate plan for the car?
The LS series angines have improved fuel economy (among other things) so its really up to you. If you are on a budget I would say go with the 350 - the parts are easier to come by and you don't need to get a computer for it.
