I have had this car up for sale for about 2 and 1/2 months.I don't feel good about selling it because the 69 Camaro has been my favorite car of all time.I was just thinking about maybe getting a 2002 LS1 car that is alot more driveable and less to worry about.I have had calls from guy's but most don't want to be buying at normal prices these days.My car is in average good condition.I have never driven a 2002 Camaro but I know driving my 69 Camaro is a blast to drive.There's no way I am selling the car for less then what its worth.After thinking about it I might be happier keeping it and I may just do that.I bought the car when I was 19 years old and have owned the car now for 18 year's.The car is easy to work on and cheap on insurance.The only thing I have no idea about is the gas mileage of my car?? It has a 396 bored .30 over with a 595/595 lift cam and 4.11 Gear's with 28 Inch tall tire's.I might be lucky to get 10 mpg but I have no idea.Gas mileage does not really bother me but its one of the only things i don't know about my car because my fuel gauge never worked since I bought the car.I was wondering what you guy's are getting as far as mpg with your 396 ,427,454 car's.I know the tune helps alot too.

 

I measure mine more to the gallons-per-mile rating! I don't wanna know anyway, it's a play toy.

 

4:11's is as high as I would go in my street Camaro.With the Muncie 4 speed with no overdrive I wonder if a richmond 6 speed is what would make my car a nicer drive on the highway.
