Default mono leaf vs multi leaf springs?

Okay here's a stupid nubee question. My car leans on the driver side about 1" lower than the right plus me in the driver seat and no passenger probably more. So I was thinking of replacing the leaf springs as I think this probably needs to be replace to even out the car.

The question I come accross is on my 69 do I have a mono leaf? Or multi leaf? What's the difference and advantages on them?

Only way for you to know which springs you have is to look. Mono leaf is just that, one leaf. Multi leaf is a stack of multiple leafs. Mono leafs give a softer ride, but can be dangerous if it breaks. With multi leafs, you could have a snapped spring but the rest will help to hold things together. You could have a broken leaf spring, or just a well worn out one. Given the ride condition and age, a new set of springs would do the car good. If you currently have mono leaf, change over to multi leafs. If that's the case, speak up, as there are extra things you need to add to convert them.

u could find a sping shop and have springs re-arched. also check front coils , a weak frt coil could make car lean also
