I saw an ad for a '69 COPO car and I don't know what to do.

Check the dates on Posts, This one is 16 year old. If you saw a rusted out shell sitting in the middle a field but you could prove it was an original 427 Copo without a single salvageable part it would be worth close to 30K today. Copo are the holy grails of the first gens. With big block SS selling 100k the Copo in mint shape will sell for 300K and if it has the Aluminum 427 (ZL1) it more like a Million.
