I have a 67 327 i am looking to upgrade. It has a 2.5 magnaflow exhaust with x-pipe and crossflow muffler. The car was a 210hp 327. I have installed a stock manifold and 4bbl carb from a 325\350HP 327, transmission is a powerglide. Probaply stock 3.08 gears in the rear.The car has a working AC, I am looking at a cheap new set of aluminum heads with 202s. I want some opinions on cam selection. I want the car to run on pump gas, bottom end of the motor is stock. I have a mechanic friend that is pushing towards a roller set up with a split duration cam. Split duration yes\roller setup NO. I think it would be cost prohibative to go in that direction. This is from a guy that will put a big block into anything..I just want more horses\torque, not a race car. I have been looking at comp cams CS 268AH-8 or 151H
