69 camaro ss ??
I just bought a 69 camaro from a guy I work with. He has owned it for 25 years, and it needs quite a bit of work.. It has all of the ss badging, disk brakes,(disk brake pedal) and appears to be an ss.. He said it was originally a big block car, when his brother bought it.. Now it has a 350.. the cowl tag has no code that indicates it as an ss.. (no x code) Since all big block cars were ss cars, what can I look for to prove that this was a big block car.. I am wanting to restore this car as close as I can to the original car.. It has a paint code 76, daytona yellow, with a black vinyl top.. Thanks in advance!!!
Should have a gas line returning to the gas tank, 12 bolt, front discs, and an exhaust hanger welded to the subframe on the driver's (?) side.
P.S. Not all SS cars were big blocks.
